Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership: what it is and who it suits

The Pearson BTEC Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership is an advanced qualification for graduates and experienced professionals who want to strengthen their strategic leadership, decision-making and organisational management. It runs for 12 months and is taught in blended-learning format.

Who can join

• Option AA bachelor’s degree, eligible for direct entry
• Option BA Higher National Diploma (HND), with a minimum of one year of work experience
• Option CG.C.E. Advanced Level passes, with a minimum of two years of work experience at executive level
• Option DG.C.E. Ordinary Level passes, with a minimum of five years of work experience at executive level

This version is the core Pearson programme, without the aviation-focused bonus units that Aspire adds for its Aviation Management HND graduates. It is open to graduates of the HND in Business or the HND in International Travel & Tourism. If you come from aviation, there is an aviation version.

Is it for you?

• You hold a bachelor's degree, or an HND with at least a year of work experience.
• You are working toward senior management or strategic leadership roles across business, travel and tourism.
• You are comfortable with research and written analysis: the programme includes a Research Methods unit.

The fees

The programme fee is Rs 150,000: a registration payment of Rs 30,000 and a payment plan of Rs 15,000 × 8 months. The registration is part of the total fee, not an extra. There is also a Pearson fee of GBP 500, paid directly to Pearson in the United Kingdom, so ask admissions for a current rupee estimate.

Where it leads

The Postgraduate Diploma provides a pathway to further postgraduate study, including master's degrees.
