How far can I go? From diploma to master's level
Students often ask where a qualification can lead. Here is the ladder as the college sets it out.
The ladder
The progression runs from a Diploma, to the Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND, RQF Level 4–5), to a Postgraduate Diploma (RQF Level 7), and from there to a pathway into master's-level study. Aviation Management also has a Foundation below the Diploma, taken straight after O/Levels.
The Postgraduate Diploma comes in two versions
Graduates of the HND in Business or the HND in International Travel & Tourism can enter the core Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership, priced at Rs 150,000. Graduates of the HND in Aviation Management enter the aviation-focused version, which includes bonus aviation units and is priced at Rs 200,000.
Degrees abroad
The college describes the HND in International Travel & Tourism as equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor's degree, with progression to top-up degrees at partner universities in the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore or Malaysia. These are stated as available pathways. The college does not guarantee admission to any outside university, so ask admissions which universities accept the HND and what they require. Read more in our guide to that HND.
Where to start
- Any O/Level result: the Foundation in Aviation Management.
- Five O/Level passes including Maths and English, or an accepted Foundation: a Diploma in Aviation, Business or Procurement & Supply Management.
- Two A/Level passes, a diploma, or O/Levels with five years of work experience: an HND. See the routes into an HND.
