About this programme
This programme is a UK-recognised vocational qualification, giving you the knowledge, practical skills and professional competencies needed for careers across the global aviation industry. It combines business and management principles with aviation-specific subjects, preparing you for roles in airlines, airports, ground handling companies, cargo operations, and travel and tourism organisations.
It is a Pearson BTEC Higher National qualification, written in the United Kingdom and delivered at our Colombo 07 campus by Aspire’s aviation faculty, covering current aviation industry practices and regulations.

Entry requirements
Any one of the following qualifies you to apply.
Two passes at G.C.E. Advanced Level
You already hold a diploma, which qualifies you for direct entry to the HND
Five passes at G.C.E. Ordinary Level, with five years of work experience
Exemptions approved by the Board of Examinations

Graduates enter management-track roles across airlines, airports, ground handling and cargo, in Sri Lanka, across the Gulf, and beyond.
